Speaking Of Roses & The City Of Roses. Many of you have been asking when the Next Thomasville Rose Show will be. Of course we are happy to have this information on our site. The 90th Annual Thomasville Rose Show & Festival activities will begin on Thursday April 21st With The Main Rose Show & Parade Parade on Friday April 22nd, The Parade will be at 7:00 PM and the festivities will continue through Saturday April 23rd  2011 . This event always has Roses, Roses, Roses, Roses & more Roses. we will bring you more on the site as we are able to post it.

The 2011 scheduled Rose Parade & Festival The event also host the annual street dance with live music following the parade at 8:30 PM at the Intersection of North Broad & Jefferson Streets. This years entertainment will be "The Swingin Medallions". There is the Annual Car Show, Art In The Park and these festivities extend into both Saturday and Sunday with various events around the Rose City including a 5k Run, Pet activities, Orchids on parade. The fun actually starts on Thursday the 21st in the evening with the Rose Bud Parade at 7:00 PM featuring the kids of the Thomasville Rose City area. The Parades are held on the Brick Road of Broad Street.

Our Thomasville Rose Show & Festival also had a special appearance by our own 2010 Miss Thomasville, Hannah Barfield featured below to add to the already numerous festivities enjoyed by all at your Thomasville Rose Show. 

Hannah who attends the University of Georgia absolutely did not want to miss her opportunity to join you and everyone here having all the fun here at our now World Famous Rose Show here in Thomasville.  Everything was absolutely superb on this year's Rose Show and we think everyone had a fantastic time enjoying one of the largest collections or gathering of many of the World's most beautiful roses for everyone's enjoyment in one area or location! 

Many of you have been excited about the opening ceremony featuring Thomasville, Georgia's Rose Queen. These activities will be held downtown on Remington Avenue on Friday the 22nd at 1:30 PM. We will be showing you more on this as the site develops.

Paradise Park will be event filled over the weekend as well. Parking is free and there is no admission fee. It's just a great time hosted by a great City with lots of warm Southern Hospitality.

Thomasville Rose Show, Parade & Festival

The 2010, 89th Annual Rose Show, Parade & Festival was a tremendous success as it always is with Roses, Roses and more Roses. Spring comes into full bloom here in Thomasville with the Annual Rose Show, Festival and Parade. We have various pictures from the festivities posted on your Thomasville Rose site. 

We now even have the schedule posted for your 2011 Thomasville Rose Festival so you can make plans to join here in Thomasville, Georgia for this larger than ever 90th Annual Rose Show Parade & Festival. We are now celebrating 90 Big Years of the World's Most Beautiful Roses and the fun continues with our 9th decade of this successful tradition coming into full bloom here in the Rose City! 

The Festivities begin on Thursday April 21st at 7:00 PM with the Rosebud Children's Parade and Continues on Friday April 22nd with the main festivities of the Rose Show & Parade. The Festival Continues with various activities through Saturday April 23rd, 2010

Your 2010 Rose Queen Haley Caldwell cuts the ribbon for the official beginning of the Thomasville Rose Show on Friday Afternoon in the picture on the right below.

At this time we will step into the festivities of the Rose Show and have a look around. Award Winning Fresh Roses of every type imaginable all kept fresh for your viewing pleasure within this super air conditioned tent. Thomasville takes its roses quite seriously and they don't call us the Rose City for nothing !

They have a magnificent collection of Fresh Orchids growing in their natural habitat on display in the Genealogical Library at 135 North Broad Street. 

Their display will be staffed with members of the Thomasville Orchid Society to answer your questions on their beautiful collection of Orchids.

Orchids of every type imaginable and more are very nicely arranged and displayed with your Orchids on Parade here in Thomasville!

Orchids On Parade will be on display Friday & Saturday from 9:00 AM - 3:45 PM. Admission is FREE !

The Thomasville Rose Queen Pageant is an exciting prelude to festivities to come on your Thomasville Rose Show, Festival and Parade Activities. The Rose Queen Pageant brings several contestants from around the area together in a friendly, fun and well spirited competition held just before the Rose Show.

The Rose Queen Pageant is a quality family entertainment night out and worth the visit. The events of the night include a wide variety of Music, Dance and Various Entertainment for all to enjoy while showcasing the talents of the individual contestants throughout the Rose Queen Pageant. 

The event will narrow the search down to the Second & First Runner Up.
